* Terms used:
Lessor – the person leasing the car
Lessee – the person renting the car
* What documents are required to rent a car?
When renting a car, you must provide a valid driver's license with at least 1-3 years of driving experience + ID card of a citizen of the Republic of Moldova (minimum age: 21 years).
* What can serve as a deposit?
The deposit is a sum of money held during the rental period. If the car is returned without any damage, the full amount will be refunded upon return of the rented car (the deposit amount varies depending on the car make).
Payment for the rental and deposit is made on the day the rental agreement is signed.
* What happens in case of an accident?
If the car is involved in a road accident during the rental period, you must immediately notify your manager!
I. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE LESSEE (The person renting the car)
The Lessee undertakes to:
1) use the car in accordance with its intended purpose, complying with technical standards and traffic rules, as well as the provisions of this agreement;
2) not use the car for transporting or towing other vehicles;
3) not drive the car under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or psychotropic substances;
4) use the car exclusively on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. If the Lessee wishes to leave the Republic of Moldova or enter the territory of PMR, he must notify the Lessor in advance and obtain his consent;
5) return the rented car upon expiration of the term specified in the agreement, in the same condition in which it was handed over, taking into account normal wear and tear;
6) not use the car as a TAXI or for driving lessons;
7) not participate in car races, sports competitions or tests;
8) not exceed the maximum permitted speed — 90 km/h in the city and 130 km/h outside the city (at own risk). At the same time, if during the rental period the Lessee exceeds the speed limit of 130 km/h three times, the Lessor has the right to terminate the agreement unilaterally without refunding the amount paid for the rental;
9) not allow third parties to use the rented car (for a fee or free of charge).
